Recreational Soccer Coaches

LYSC is always in need of dedicated parents and volunteers who will donate their time and experience to coach our youth soccer players. If you are interested in coaching in our recreational soccer program this coming fall season, please take a moment to fill out the CalNorth online Team Official Registration And Risk Management Disclosure Form to register with the California Youth Soccer Association. To fully complete the registration process, you will need to upload a current photo of yourself, so please be prepared to do that after submitting the disclosure form. Please email the Coach Coordinator at coaches@lysc.net to have your name add to the coaches email list, if you have not done so already.

Any and all questions regarding coaching in the recreational program should be directed to our coach coordinator, Lee McMurtry, at coaches@lysc.net.

IMPORTANT 2017 UPCOMING DATES

  • Loomis F license Field Course Saturday July 15 - email coaches@lysc.net to sign up
  • Annual Coaches Meeting Date TBD

Coaching Requirements

Coaching for LYSC requires holding a United States Soccer Federation F license.  This is earned by completing both an online course (about 2 hours), and a Field course (4 hours on a Saturday).  The online portion can be done any time, and will be reimbursed by LYSC for our coaches.  Contact coaches@lysc.net to find out more about signing up for the Field component.  Loomis runs a Field component class every year, but there are other local options
