Team Overview
The 2017 Loomis Pumas 09 will be an aggressive, high energy team that plays smart attacking soccer.  The focus of the season will be three fold.  First, every training session will include a large portion dedicated to foot skills/ball manipulation and agility/coordination.  Proper technique will be enforced at every session.  Second, the understanding of space both on and off the ball.  Games and training sessions will focus heavily on spacing and understand WHY we space.  Third, the concept of team play will be emphasized.  The understanding of shape, seems, relief of pressure, playing to away form positive numbers and over load pressing among other aspects will be utilized throughout the season.

In order to reach our individual and team goals we will use coach led training sessions, coach led futsal sessions, trainers, futsal and indoor soccer.
The 2017 Loomis Pumas 09 will enjoy top level coaching, the best trainer in the area, excellent facilities and a dedication/passion that is unsurpassed in Northern California.

Coaching Staff

Head Coach:  Brant Rego
 
Coach Brant has been coaching high level soccer for over 10 season.  In 2017, he will coach the Loomis Wolves 04 boys (which will be his 5th season as head coach) and the Loomis Pumas 09 girls.  In 2016, Coach Brant led the Loomis Wolves 04 boys team to a 4-4-1 record in the GOLD division in NorCal Premier and in the top PREMIER division in the State Cup.  He also coached the Rocklin Pumas 09 rec team (for his third years)  The Rocklin Pumas have only lost 3 games in 3 years and played up at least one full age group each year.  They recently won the DIVISION 1 U9 championship going undefeated and with a goal differential of +63.
Coach Brant is among the highest level coaches in all of Sacramento Metro area.  He currently holds 11 coaching licenses including State D, State GK, ACF Fiorentina Advanced Diploma Technical/Tactical Methodology, LaLiga Formation Methodology Level 3 and a current USSF FIFA Level 8 referee.

March thru December

This will include spring league, playdates, indoor, futsal, fall league tournaments and NorCal Premier State Cup.

On Average 2 to 3 sessions per week.

4 to 5 tournaments throughout the season.

Expected cost
Around $800 plus uniform and gear.
