Open Board Positions

Loomis Youth Soccer Club is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. Our governing positions is filled by dedicated members of our community who believe youth sports provide a vital growth experience for the children who participate in our program. Below are a list of open positions on our board, along with a brief descriptions of the responsibilities entailed. Aside from the listed duties, the board holds monthly meetings on the last Tuesday of every month and input from all members on all issues that arise is encouraged. Field Setup Manager responsibilities include: 
- Setting up and storing the goals at the beginning and end of each season
- Coordinating a small crew of young adults that will stripe the fields, set out the corner flags, and set up and 4v4 goals each week of the season
- Coordinating to have portable toilets set out at various field locations during the season
- Repairing and replacing damaged/loose nets throughout the season
- Determining equipment needs for the fields
- Inspecting the fields regularly throughout the season for safety and other issues
- Coordinating with the county and school district to ensure field issues are addressed
