LYSC is always in need of dedicated parents and volunteers who will donate their time and experience to coach our youth soccer players. This is our single biggest need as a club.

The first step in this process is to complete the Recreational Coach Application below. This is a very short form that will notify our coaching director of your interest in coaching and we will then get back to you to discuss details an answer any questions.

Please email the Coach Coordinator at if you have any questions.

Coaching Requirements

  • Complete online Safe Sports Training (about 30-45 minutes)
  • Complete online Concussion Identification and Prevention Training (about 30-45 minutes)
  • Complete online Introduction to Grassroots Training course provided by US Soccer Learning Center (about 15-20 minutes)
